Dave Upton, MA
Dave is a graduate of Taylor University and has an MA in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary, as well as over 15 years of experience in non-profit work. Dave and his wife, Jenny, co-founded Eagle's Wings in 2009 with a desire to bring professional Christian counseling services to the community.  He has a desire to see lives changed through the integration of professional psychological principles and Biblical truth. Dave is an avid outdoorsman, has been married for over 20 years, and has 2 children in college.

Jenny Upton, MA, LMHC, QS
Jenny is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a BA in Psychology from Taylor University and an MA in Counseling from Webster University. She has been licensed since 2008 and is also a Qualified Supervisor for the State of Florida.  Jenny is the Co-Founder and a Co-Director of EWCC, the Director of Counseling Services, and a Co-Director of the “Wellspring Program” specializing in recovery for individuals and couples who have been affected by pornography addiction and/or affairs.  Jenny, along with Lauren Mauck, co-authored a work entitled “Relational Trauma Response” identifying and describing the unique and specific symptoms of trauma sustained in relationship betrayals and developed a treatment program based on this trauma model.  She has counseled hundreds of clients dealing with sexual addiction/affair recovery and is dedicated to bringing hope, freedom and healing.  Jenny is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, has been married for over 20 years, and has 2 children in college.

Lauren Mauck, MA, LMFT, QS

Twenty years ago, Deb's life was changed by the sacrificial love of Christ, and she began to live for Him. Since then, Deb has had the privilege of serving alongside churches, ministries and non-profits. Because of her personal life experiences, she has a tender heart towards each client who walks through our doors. Deb's goal is that each person will feel welcome and at ease while at EWCC. Her passion is to see individuals experience abundant life that comes from knowing their true value in Christ.

Erica Breit, MA, LMHC
Erica received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida in 2014. She believes in joining alongside her clients wherever they may be in life’s journey and supporting them with genuine empathy, acceptance, and encouragement. She realizes that therapy must be tailored to each client in order to meet one’s specific needs. Her goal is to empower individuals to reach their full potential by overcoming roadblocks and exploring healthy coping strategies in response to life’s many stressors. Her passion is to help adolescents and young adults work through issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, self-image, suicidality, self-harm, anger management, life adjustments, and relational issues.

Jennifer Carlson, MSW, LCSW
Jennifer earned her MSW from USF – Tampa in 2004.  She specializes in pediatric, adolescent, and family therapy.  Jennifer has vast experience working with children and families, including school setting specific
concerns.  She believes that people are made up of many multifaceted  layers and seeks to assist children and families in psychological healing by looking at both the issue at hand as well as the person and
family as a whole.  She sees great benefit from play therapy, art therapy, social skills, cognitive behavioral therapies, and gentle
parenting practices.  She tailors each session to the specific needs of the client with an end goal of healing through strength identification and building.   Jennifer loves her husband of 10+ years and their 4
children.  Her family enjoys spending their free time at Bible Study and praying without ceasing to build their personal relationships with Jesus.

Gina Cobb, MA, RMHCI
Gina graduated from Oral Roberts University with her Master’s degree in Christian Counseling in May 2017.  Her Bachelor of Science in Psychology was completed in 2015 at ORU.  She completed her 1000 hours of student mental health internship at an elementary school.  Her experience includes working with concerns of ADHD, grief, depression, anxiety, and positive behavioral management.  Gina is passionate about working with children of all ages and focuses on a strength-based approach of developing a collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients that extend to their families.  She comes to Eagle’s Wings Counseling with experience as a previous K-4 educator and substitute teacher while raising 4 children.  Gina’s children are grown and she enjoys her 4 grandchildren with a new addition expected the end of August.

Lyndsie received her Master of Arts in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling and graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of South Florida. Her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology was completed at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California. To enhance her knowledge of individual, marital, and family dynamics, she has participated in trainings presented by John and Julie Gottman, Sue Johnson and Michele Weiner-Davis. She is an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and passionately serves in student ministry. Lyndsie’s goal as a therapist is to work collaboratively with people of all ages to create meaningful change and build quality relationships with the important people in their lives. She uses a strength-based approach to reveal sources of conflict, overcome challenges, and make connections with self and others.

Janelle Damrau
Janelle is currently pursuing her Masters degree in mental health counseling at Webster University.  She received her B.A. in Psychology from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey.  For the past 15 years, she has worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a clinical research associate working specifically with Stage IV oncology patients.  It was during her interaction with patients that she realized her passion of helping others heal through counseling and community.  Her passion is working with both individuals and couples to understand their true potential and Christ given gifts.  Janelle has been married for 13 years and has 2 children.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with her family.

Kristen has a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. She holds a B.A. from Miami University (OH). She works with people struggling with depression and anxiety, unplanned pregnancy, post-partum depression, co-dependency, grief, life transitions and more. She is passionate about helping people become the healthy and whole people they were created to be. She has been married since 1999, and has four children.

Elizabeth Jordan, MA, LMHC
Elizabeth is a licensed mental health counselor and graduate of Liberty University.  She has completed the sex therapy program at Richmont University and is a candidate for certification through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists. She specializes in the treatment of sexual abuse and trauma including complex trauma, female sexual pain disorders, struggles with desire as well as same sex issues and gender identity disorders.  She also works with couples looking to increase emotional intimacy and grow in healthy sexuality.  Elizabeth is passionate about joining her clients in their journey to freedom and wholeness through hearing their stories, identifying areas of change, and developing a plan of action using personal strengths and available resources to achieve desired goals.  Elizabeth is married with three teenagers and enjoys traveling, indoor cycling, and spending time with her family.

Steve completed his Master’s degree and is a Registered Intern with the state of Florida in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy.   Steve has a second Master’s degree in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary.  He and his wife served in college ministry and youth groups stateside, and as missionaries for several years in Brazil.  His passion is working with teens and adults of all ages through struggles with depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, body image, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, and relational difficulties.  He is also very passionate about helping men and women find freedom from sexual bondage and couples recover from the devastation of affairs and patterns of unfaithfulness.  Steve leads several men’s Recovering Hearts groups at EWCC.

Cristina is a student intern at the University of South Florida. She is working toward her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy, and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Healthcare at USF. She is from Puerto Rico, was raised in Florida, and is receptive-bilingual. As a new wife, Cristina understands the blessings and difficulties of marriage. This journey has led her to understand her calling to work with young couples and pre-marital couples. Her passion is to serve couples and families by working collaboratively with them to create stronger bonds and breaking negative cycles to create long-lasting, meaningful change. Cristina views relationship problems from a systemic, attachment-based approach in order to achieve those goals.

Michelle has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Regent University and has twenty-two years’ experience counseling couples, families, and individuals.  Michelle helps couples and individuals to break free from unhealthy relationship patterns and other problems that stem from childhood wounds.  She believes that when we are wounded in relationship, we are healed in relationship.  She has found freedom through the love of God, and is most passionate about helping others to break free from faulty beliefs and compulsive behaviors that rob them of joy and walking in destiny. She believes that God loves to meet us in the broken places of life.  She also enjoys the integration of neuroscience, faith, and psychology and utilizes the latest brain science to maximize growth.  She has been a public speaker, teacher, and trainer in the areas of Complex Trauma, marriage and relationships, parenting, and Christian inspiration.  She has also coordinated various mental health programs and founded a ministry for adults with Traumatic Brain Injury in Virginia Beach. Michelle recently finished training with the Couples Institute and is looking forward to starting a doctoral program in the fall of 2018.

growth, co-dependency, and post-abortion recovery as well as relationships. She has years of life experience that help her relate to others’ struggles. She and her husband David have been married 35 years and have two children and four grandchildren.

Kyla graduated from Florida State University in 2008 with a Masters in Social Work and she has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2010. Her counseling background is primarily in addressing trauma for children and teenagers who were victims of sexual abuse. She currently has a focus in anxiety and trauma as well as working with couples, women, and men struggling with sexual addiction or in the aftermath of an affair. Her hope is for the light and truth of Jesus to abound in dark places and for healing and restoration!
