Bethany Gaddis
MA | Marriage and Family Therapy Student Intern
Bethany Gaddis is a student intern finishing her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) through National University. After meeting her master’s level requirements, Bethany will continue to pursue licensure in the state of Florida. In 2001, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Youth Recreation Ministry from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Prior to pursuing her master’s, Bethany spent 20+ years working with youth, young adults, couples, and families through local church ministries in a pastoral role. Bethany is a Certified Enneagram Coach and a member of the AAMFT and National Collegiate Honor Society.
Bethany considers it an honor to be able to step into collaborative relationships with individuals, partners, and family systems to improve communication and cultivate helpful coping skills. She considers counseling an invaluable resource for taking a holistic approach to mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing both professionally and personally. Bethany enjoys working with a diverse group of clients and is fully committed to maintaining cultural sensitivity and inclusivity throughout her therapeutic practice. Coming alongside others as they set out to live an authentic life in alignment with their values and goals while leveraging their strengths and personality brings her joy. Since being a human can be difficult and life doesn't always go as planned, Bethany is aware there will be moments when we need more help and direction at different points along the route. She is prepared and willing to accompany you and yours on these journies.
Bethany is originally from the west-coast (of the country, not the state), is married to her college sweetheart and is the loudest cheerleader for her four children. For fun, Bethany loves to get outdoors and is always up for an adventure like skydiving, roller coaster riding, rock climbing, you name it! To relax, she enjoys a good cup of coffee or tea, reading, cuddling with her goldendoodle, and taking drives in her Jeep during sunsets. A quote she lives by is: “If my fire is not large, it is yet real & there may be those who can light their candle at its flame.” – A.W. Tozer
