Lauren has been personally affected by addictions and betrayal trauma which allows her to have a unique understanding for both those in addiction as well as those betrayed. In addition, she frequently works with family members whom have a loved one showing narcissistic personality traits. Her approach is one that is very relational, as she believes we are hurt in relationships and we heal in relationships. She views therapy as a collaborative approach to helping the client(s) experience life to its fullest, which often includes peace and freedom never thought achievable.

Lauren graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2007 with her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She then spent her early years developing a comprehensive intensive outpatient program for Opiate Addiction. In addition to sexual addiction, substance abuse, and betrayal, Lauren has a deep well of experience in other areas including, anxiety, depression, loss/grief, ADHD, and OCD, that allows her to treat a large variety of issues, especially when such are co- occurring with addiction. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. When Lauren isn't working....(ha! ha!) she can be found doing her own "Family Therapy" out on the water boating, fishing, or building sand castles with her husband and two toddlers.
